side trips

and here i was trying to save up since zambales robbed me of my money - not that i'm complaining, though.

videoke+beer. i was at cainta last sunday attending my officemate's daughter's christenning. i had quite a handful to eat. nothing exciting, just eating and hanging around with small talks and kupal hirits. come around 3pm, we went to sm north (i dunno why, but it sure works to my advantage as far as going home is concerned) for some videoke and beer. it was the first time i had beer with officemates. they were quite surrised at my tolerance level (which is not surprising at all, as it was just beer). had a good set of songs to sing and a continuation of kupal hirits. buti na lang i got to withdraw, it took me a while to find an atm machine. my wallet was sucked dry once again,but its all good.

de-stressing activity. gone bowling last tuesday. was a little disaointed being only 2nd on the first round, and 3rd on the 2nd (competitive, i know). went out for starbucks after, though i couldn't have another shot of caffeine as i was sti shaking from the mocha i had at work (must've put too much coffee in my drink, oh well).


luxury food+yellow cab x2. had it last thursday and friday. thursday was roi's birthday and he decided to treat everyone out. i also made a promise to treat them out when i get my midyear bonus. we decided to share on pizza. prior to that, i had a meeting at GPL and went out for lunch at my tea house. it was good food, though it would have been better if i didn't ay for it. hehe.
the project reached a major miles stone when bankard signed the user acceptance documents. had lunch over at ahsin (asian cuisine) c/o tita capella (she really IS my tita) after the meeting. when i got back to the office, our project manager treated us for pizza.

i really wished cholesterol wasn't a bad thing.

statsoc alumni meeting. went to UP yesterday to get my long overdue stat shirt and attend the statsoc alumni consultation meeting. there were a few attendees but i think the numbers were enough for us to get some plans done. got to see some old friends and acquaintances. a bit nostalgic. and fun, even if it was just lunch at mcdonald's.
